To view and use the new streamlined "Modern" theme,
your display monitor should be set to display
thousands of colors. For users who cannot set their
displays to use more than 256 colors, Netscape
recommends using the "Classic" theme for Netscape 7.02.
To select the Classic theme after you have installed
Netscape 7.02:
1. Open the Edit menu and choose Preferences.
2. Under the Appearance category, choose Themes.
3. Click to select the Classic theme.
4. Click OK.
Changed themes take effect after you restart
Netscape 7.02.
During installation, the creation of temporary files
requires more free disk space than listed below.

-Mac OS 8.6 and later; Mac OS 9.1 or later
highly recommended; Mac OS X 10.1.x; Mac OS X 10.2

(or later) or SuSE 6.2 (or later).

Installation Notes
======================================================
- For Mac OS and Windows users, it is strongly
recommended that you exit all programs before running
the setup program. Also, you should temporarily
disable virus-detection software.
- Install into a clean (new) directory. Installing on
top of released product builds may cause problems.
- The Profile Manager lets you create different
profiles, each with its own bookmarks, preferences,
email settings, and other user-specific settings. To
work with profiles, you must first exit the browser,
then open the Profile Manager:
* On Windows, open the Start menu and choose
Programs, then Netscape 7.0, then Profile Manager.
* On Mac OS, open the Netscape folder and then
double-click the Profile Manager.
* On Linux, type the following at the command
line:
./netscape -profilemanager
For more information, open the Help menu, choose Help
and Support Center, and click Managing Profiles.
- If you have problems connecting to web sites after
you install Netscape 7.02, you may need to check your
proxy configuration settings. For information on
the settings you should use, speak to your system
administrator.
For information on how to change proxy settings, open
the Help menu, choose Help and Support Center, click
Search, and type "proxy".
